The Bundaberg & Fraser Coast Relay For Life 2026
Lace up, Bundy—it’s time to roll for a reason.
The Bundaberg & Fraser Coast Relay For Life 2026 is turning up the energy this year, teaming up with Rink Revolution Bundaberg to bring skating into the mix for the very first time.
Held at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct on Saturday 20 June, the much-loved fundraiser will now see participants walking, running—or skating—their laps in support of Cancer Council Queensland.
Two dedicated skating sessions will run inside the main pavilion, from 12:30pm to 3:30pm and again from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, with the evening session set to feature disco lights for a fun after-dark vibe. Skate hire will be available, but organisers are encouraging participants to pre-book to secure the right fit.
Event Chair Harry Titmarsh said the partnership is all about creating new and engaging ways for the community to get involved. “Whether you choose to walk, run or skate, every lap and every dollar raised helps support vital cancer research, prevention and support services,” he said.
Importantly, all skaters must be registered Relay For Life participants, wear official event wristbands, and complete an online waiver before hitting the rink—helping ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Rink Revolution will also field an open team, giving anyone the chance to jump in and be part of the skating action while contributing to the overall fundraising effort.
Running from 12pm to 9pm under this year’s “Relay Around the World” theme, the event continues to evolve, offering new ways for the Bundaberg and Fraser Coast community to connect, have fun, and support an important cause.
Registrations are now open, so grab your skates—or borrow a pair—and get ready to roll for good.
