Teens, Designers, and Local Bundaberg Businesses Unite
Bundaberg’s fashion calendar is gearing up for its biggest night of the year as Essence of Elegance returns on February 21, 2026, bringing with it a spectacular blend of style, runway brilliance and community support.
The annual showcase will be held at Brothers Sports Club from 6pm to 9pm, followed by an exclusive VIP after-party from 9pm to 11pm (tickets sold separately).
Essence of Elegance promises to be a night of glamour, creativity and red-carpet energy. Guests are encouraged to dress to impress as they enjoy a dazzling showcase of designer fashion and local talent.

The event is designed to spotlight local talent across fashion, beauty and events, with collaborations across various local bundaberg businesses, such as Tarocash, M.R. Photography and more. Calabree Occasions will be creating an eye-catching entrance display for guests through their signature balloon and décor styling.
In the lead-up to the main event, organisers have announced a three-day pre-event modelling program designed specifically for teens in Years 10 to 12. The program aims to help young people build confidence, gain industry experience and develop a professional portfolios.
Participants will enjoy a full schedule of hands-on sessions, including:
– Makeup and hair workshops for both natural and glam looks, complete with a personalised professional makeup kit curated by Sparkled Beauty.
– Two modelling sessions with M.R. Photography, covering runway skills and in-front-of-camera experience.
– Professional styling sessions featuring stunning gowns supplied by Brooklyn Rae Designs and a new addition—sharp, modern suits provided by Tarocash.
– A live runway appearance at the Essence of Elegance Fashion Show, where each teen’s completed modelling portfolio will be presented.
With limited spaces available, the program is expected to fill quickly as families look to secure a unique growth opportunity for their teens.
The 2026 event will continue its tradition of supporting the community by fundraising for Red Collar Rescue Inc., a volunteer-run local organisation dedicated to saving and rehoming abandoned and at-risk dogs.
A silent auction will showcase big-ticket items donated by local businesses, with all proceeds going directly to the rescue.
Brooklyn Rae Designs, the event host, continues its mission of bringing standout gowns to the region for maternity shoots, formals, weddings and special events—all while championing local collaborations and community involvement.
Organisers are also inviting businesses to become sponsors or contribute items to the auction, with a range of promotional packages and VIP perks available.
