Bundaberg skateboarder Jake Reed is on a mission to get kids off their devices and back outside, one trick at a time. Through his Stand Strong Skateboarding workshops, Jake runs beginner, intermediate and advanced sessions for skaters aged five and up, offering a safe and fun way to build skills and confidence.

From learning the basics of balance to landing more advanced moves, Jake focuses on creating a strong foundation so his students are set up to “nail the big stuff.” With full insurance in place, parents can feel assured that kids are in safe hands.

But the workshops aren’t just for kids. As an active lifestyle advocate, Jake also offers private coaching, group sessions and community events, encouraging people of all ages to give skateboarding a go. “It’s never too late to learn something new,” he says, adding that spring is the perfect time to finally tick ‘learn how to skateboard’ off your bucket list.
