ISIS GOLF CLUB RECORDS FIVE ACES IN SIX MONTHS

A remarkable streak of golfing excellence has put Isis Golf Club firmly in the spotlight, as the small regional club celebrates an extraordinary run of hole-in-ones that has energized its members and sparked widespread excitement.

Since 10 September 2025, the club has recorded an incredible five hole-in-ones—an achievement made even more notable by the fact that such moments had been absent for many years prior. For a club of its size, this sudden surge of precision and luck has created a bit of a buzz.

The latest ace came on February 28th during the club’s very first Saturday morning trial competition, delivered by 21-year-old Bryden Blair. Isis Golf Club reported “On the 129-metre Par 3 sixth hole, Bryden produced a beauty, his shot took one bounce on the green and rolled straight into the cup. Absolute perfection.” The moment sparked immediate celebration and added another chapter to this extraordinary run.

To put the streak into perspective, the club’s recent hole-in-ones have occurred as follows:
• 1st Hole-In-One: 10 September 2025 – achieved by Russell Kidd
• 2nd Hole-In-One: 28 September 2025 – achieved by George Bridgeman
• 3rd Hole-In-One: 29 November 2025 – achieved by Craig Reynolds
• 4th Hole-In-One: 24 January 2026 – achieved by Ivan Keene
• 5th Hole-In-One: 28 February 2026 – achieved by Bryden Blair (featured in the image on the right)

Each ace is a rare accomplishment in its own right, but five within just six months is something truly exceptional.
Members have described the atmosphere as electric, with every visit to a par 3 tee now carrying a sense of anticipation.

The clubhouse has been buzzing with conversation, as golfers relive each moment and share in the excitement. Russell Kidd’s ace in early September set the tone, quickly followed by George Bridgeman later that month. Craig Reynolds’ effort in November and Ivan Keene’s hole-in-one in January continued the momentum.

Adding further context to just how rare these moments are, the National Hole-In-One Registry provides a range of fascinating statistics and insights into the game’s most celebrated shot.

• Average player: 12,000 to 1
• Two players from the same foursome acing the same hole: 17 million to 1
•One player making two holes-in-one in the same round: 67 million to 1

The registry also allows golfers to officially record their achievement, offering commemorative certificates or plaques, and provides clear guidance on what constitutes a legitimate hole-in-one.

Beyond the excitement, the streak has brought renewed pride and attention to Isis Golf Club.

Whether the streak continues or not, Isis Golf Club has already created a lasting memory. Five hole-in-ones in six months is more than just a statistical anomaly, it’s a celebration of skill, timing, and spirit that has reminded everyone why they love the game.
