A LEAGUE TO JOIN
Imagine a footy team where the scoreboard matters less than the smiles — that’s League Ability Bundaberg.

This incredible local program is proving that rugby league can be for everyone, creating opportunities for people living with disabilities to pull on a jersey, run onto the field and experience the cheer of the stadium. And while there are plenty of tries scored along the way, the biggest victory is being part of the team.
League Ability is helping players build confidence, form friendships and connect families. Players discover what it’s like to belong to something bigger than themselves. For many participants, League Ability Bundy has provided their very first chance to play organised team sport. A moment to be proud of.
The team works closely with the Gold Coast Titans, The Dolphins, Active Heroes, LST Support Services, WB Supports and Connect Rugby League to create opportunities for players to travel, meet other teams and enjoy unforgettable game-day experiences.
Of course, making all of this happen takes a huge effort from volunteers, families and supporters. Behind every training session and game day is a dedicated team helping organise transport, accommodation, registrations and everything in between.
League Ability Bundy continues to welcome players of all abilities and is growing stronger thanks to local community support and partnerships. Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about football. It’s about high-fives after a great run, cheering on your teammates, making new mates and knowing there’s a place where everyone belongs to the team.
